After posting several of the critical responses to Navigating Differences it’s only fair we post the authors’ rebuttals. Credit where due, these statements were unequivocal. Better late than never.

Despite the milquetoast nature of the Navigating Differences document, we’d consider it a success because all the wrong, bad people hate it.

“How can we know the people of guidance during times of ordeals (Fitna)?” someone asked Imam al-Shafi’i rahimahullah.

The Return of Men's Mags

Men’s mags are so back and they’re written by manly men for manly men. This is important and necessary. Here are three we think you should check out.

• QAWWAM – This new project by author Abdullah Yousef and issue one came out recently (June 2023.) Good essays in here and some cool Muslim fiction. Download the PDF here.

• Man’s World – Issue 10 came out in April 2023. This magazine by Raw Egg Nationalist keeps getting better and better. And it’s a glimpse of what you can expect the quality of QAWWAM to evolve into.

• WarKitchen – Issue 13 came out in June 2023. More of a health and wellness mag as opposed to a men’s mag. But the articles and perspective are based and manly.
